I love watching and reading everyone’s five star predictions and seeing/reading their wrap ups afterwards. I’ve thought about doing a post like this for a while, and I’ve finally made a list of books I think will be five star reads for me! There are many books on my Goodreads shelf I’m sure will be five star reads as well, but for this list I only listed books I already own.
Queen of Air and Darkness – I’m so excited to read the finale to The Dark Artifices series! After the end of the second book, I need to know what happens next. With each book I get more and more attached to the characters (which may not be a good thing, eek), and I think this book will be a five star read for me.
China Rich Girlfriend – I LOVED Crazy Rich Asians when I read it last year. I think the continuation of the series will be a five star read for me.
Just Mercy – I’ve heard so many good things about this nonfiction book. It’s about the Equal Justice Initiative, a practice that defends individuals in need. I haven’t been in the mood for nonfiction recently but I know I’ll love this when I get to it.
The Obelisk Gate – I gave the first book five stars when I read it last month, so I know this second book will also be a five stars for me! I think it’ll also be easier to jump into the story with this book since I already know the characters, and am used to the author’s writing style.
Rebecca – This book sounds so gothic and atmospheric, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. I was hoping to read this in October, but I still haven’t gotten to it yet, hopefully sometime in the next few months!
Six of Crows – I know, I know, I haven’t read Six of Crows yet, what am I doing with my life. The heist aspect of the story really intrigues me, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about Leigh Bardugo’s writing.
Tikka Chance on Me – This romance novel sounds so good! And Talia Hibbert gave it five stars, so I know I’ll enjoy it too! Even though the trope is pretty common (and I still love it), the rest of the plot sounds so enjoyable as well.
The Princess Trap – Talia Hibbert is a relatively new to me author, but I’ve loved everything of hers I’ve read so far, so I know I’m going to love this story!
