Happy New Year!

Hello guys! I still can’t believe it is the first day of 2015! 2014 was a year filled with blessings and ups and downs but it was a good year. On May 2014, GenGen’s Book Blog came to life! It was a new experience for me, seeing as I had never reviewed a book, not even on Goodreads. I have accomplished so many things I never thought I would do. I finally raised my GPA at college. My sophomore year (Fall 2013- Spring 2014) was a downfall with my grades but I raised them all on Fall 2014 and I am super happy with the outcome.

1. Book Buying Ban for at least 5 months
I feel sad just writing this but it is something I need to do. I have a whole shelf of unread books. On 2014, I spent more than $1,000 (I’m not kidding). At least, I will still get books from my fiance but this is going to be painful. I won’t be able to step foot at Walmart, Walgreens and K-Mart. No visiting book stores either :'(

2. More Book Reviews
What I posted more on my blog were blitzes instead of book reviews. This year I plan to post more book reviews, at least two to four reviews a week.

3. Comment on blogs
This is something I only started doing at the end of 2014. This year I plan to comment more and visit blogs.

4. Start a TBR Jar
I have a lot of unread books, as I mentioned before, and I really need to start reading them. I will start a TBR jar and hopefully read most of the unread books I own by the end of 2015.

5. Focus on college
My first year at college I got amazing grades but the past two years I have been slacking. This year I plan to get more involved and focused on my classes and keep raising my GPA.

6. Exercise and eat healthy
Now, I am a very skinny girl (107 lbs). I used to weigh 120 lbs and I miss weighing that. This year, I plan to eat healthy foods and hopefully gain weight. Also, I want to exercise to get a toned body.

7. Save money
Every time I get money, I spend it on books or clothes. This year, I am hoping I can save money in hopes of going to the RT Book Lover Convention at Las Vegas on 2016.

  1. I need to focus on my studies too. Last year I didn't really care much about my grades as long as I don't fail. But I want to change that. I'll try to aim for A's this time. Hopefully I'll be part of the Dean's list.

EXERCISE! YESS! I badly needed that. Haha. Let's try to get fit 🙂
