I’m back with another library haul! It’s been a while since I’ve shared one, so this one is going to be kind of a big haul because I have a lot of books checked out. I honestly don’t know why I keep checking books out because I still have so many unread books from the library!
The Moment of Lift – I read My Time Among the Whites a few months ago and really loved it, so I had to check out Jennine Capo Crucet’s novel. I’ve had this out for a couple weeks but still haven’t read it yet (mostly because I was out of town for almost two weeks because of the holidays and just didn’t have time to read while I was home.)
The Moment of Lift – I checked this out impulsively and started it immediately. I haven’t finished yet, but I’m about halfway through and am really enjoying it so far. It’s not a memoir, it’s Melinda Gates talking about her philanthropy, which I didn’t know going in.
Dr. Strange Beard – I’ve had this checked out for a while now and still haven’t finished it, even though I’m obsessed with Penny Reid and obsessed with the Winston Brothers series. It’s the fifth book in the series, and I love the characters and this family.
Space – I actually just finished this book, it’s the second book in the Laws of Physics series and I really, really enjoyed it! As you can tell, I’m kind of on a Penny Reid binge right now and am devouring her books.
Time – I’m currently in the middle of this book and I’m loving it so much. This is such a fun serialized novel, and I love how deep some of the topics in this are. Trigger warning for discussions on sexual assault.
Heat/Capture – I read the first book in the Elements of Chemistry series, and waited for what feels like forever for my hold on these books to come in!
Over the Top – I’ve been waiting on the hold list for this book for what feels like forever, and it finally came in. I’m hoping to get to this book soon though. I love Queer Eye and I cannot wait to read JVN’s memoir.
I Am, I Am, I Am – I heard a lot of good things about this book and have had it on my tbr for a while, so when I saw it was available from my library I immediately checked it out!
The Grief Keeper – The premise of this book sounds so good, and has been on my tbr for a while. I was really excited to see that it was available from my library so I had to check it out. I’m hoping to get to this one within the next few days.
