Here’s another haul. It’s pretty big because apparently I have no self control…oops. Let me know if you’ve read any of these, and which I should move to the top of my TBR! I’m about to be on Spring Break, so hopefully I can knock out a lot of these books while I’m not as busy with school.
The Source of Self-Regard – I’ve heard so many amazing things about Toni Morrison, and when I saw this book come in, I had to check it out for myself. I’m in the middle of a few nonfiction books right now, so this is on hold until I finish one or two of those up.
More Than We Can Tell – One of my coworkers and I keep recommending books to each other. More Than We Can Tell is her most recent recommendation. I’m in the middle of the book, and I’m enjoying it so far. It’s not really a book I’m itching to pick up when I get a minute, so I’m having to constantly make time to get through it.
Pensar Bien, Sentirse Bien – I mentioned in my February wrap up that for school we’re starting to read books about the theory we plan to counsel from. I’m fluent in Spanish, but I only grew up speaking at home so I don’t have much practice with more technical terms. I checked this book out my a cognitive psychologist as an easy way to read about terms I’m going to be using in the future if I have clients that only speak Spanish.
About That Kiss – As you can tell I kind of went on a Jill Shalvis check out spree. I read a couple of her books last week and immediately downloaded a few more for this week. I’m hoping to get to this one soon in between ARCs and personal books.
Accidentally on Purpose– Another Shalvis book. Hoping to get to this one soon as well. I know I can read this in an afternoon, so hopefully while I’m on spring break I can knock it out one day.
Romancing the Duke – I love Tessa Dare, but haven’t read this novel of hers yet. I put a hold on it a couple months ago and it finally came in! I’m super excited to dive in and read another Dare book!
Wrong to Need You – I read the first book in this series, and knew I wanted to continue. This is another book I put a hold on a while ago that just came in. I know I can get through this one quickly, and this one is at the top of my TBR.
Truthwitch – My hold for this finally came in! I really want to reread the first books of the series so I can read Bloodwitch, one of my most anticipated reads! I started the audiobook the other day, but I’m not sure I’m enjoying it because I’m not a huge fan of the narrator’s accent for the characters. Let me know if it gets better or if I should just reread my physical copy.
Sweet Little Lies – As you can tell my obsession with Shalvis this week carried over to audiobook. I actually already finished this one like two days after I downloaded it. It was so good, and I can’t wait to get to the other books of hers I checked out.
