make me read it readathon

It’s back! The Make Me Read It Readathon is hosted by Ely @ Tea & Titles and Val @ The Innocent Smiley. Basically, this readathon allows your friends and audience to vote for what you’ll be reading. This year, the readathon will be from July 9th to the 16th! So that will give you guys a month and a half to set up voting and polls and all that! Sign up here and while participating use the hashtag #MakeMeRead!

Last year I attempted this readathon and I failed…. Big time. So this year I decided to try it again and hope I at least finish some books. I plan to only read 3 books, maybe 4.

I know… I should be ashamed of some of these, but I wasn’t motivated to read them. But now you have to make me read it! So go ahead and vote 🙂

I don’t know if this poll lets you choose more than 1. If it doesn’t, feel free to vote for the one you want me to read the most then comment below for the other two and I’ll count them 🙂

Are you participating in this readathon? Let me know down below so I can vote on yours!

  1. I voted for compulsion as I’ve never heard this book before but read the synopsis on goodreads and although it’s not my usual cup of tea i’m interested in your opinion 🙂

    • I’m thinking of listening to the audio even though I have the paperback. My boyfriend started it on paperback and switched to audio and said it was great 🙂

    • Thank you! It’s been a looong time since I’ve read a review for Compulsion. Surprisingly, I haven’t heard much from Persuasion and barely anything from Illusion. I actually added it to the list because Illusion should come out soon and I’d like to catch up.

    • Aww. I don’t have time either but you know, let’s just squeeze in a readathon because I think I’m super woman or something haha If I disappear all of a sudden, it’s because life is hitting hard for pushing my responsibilities aside to read. I never learn.

    • You can do it! I’ll probably only read 2 or 3. I don’t know why I always put 4 or more when it’s a possibility that I won’t read them all.

  2. I absolutely loved Pushing the Limits, and I figured that everyone would be voting for Cress (which is an amazing read though). OH I really need to read Ready Player One! I should have put that on my poll hahaha.

Thanks so much for joining in! Can’t wait to see what books will be picked out!

    • I put it because my boyfriend gifted me the paperback after he read it/listened to the audio and I keep pushing it back haha I’ve only read the Thunder Road series by Katie McGarry and I loved it so I know I have to read Pushing the Limits for sure!

  3. Amy

I had to vote for Cress! I absolutely LOVED the series and I think everyone should read it haha.
I’m participating as well, so if you’d like to vote on my books, the link should be down below! 🙂

  4. I had such a hard time voting ! I was struggling with whether to choose Cress, A Thousand Pieces of You, and The Crown’s Game. I chose A Thousand Pieces, but it doesn’t look like it’ll be in the top four. 😀 Good luck with the readathon!! I signed up as well. 🙂
