A new full length, New Adult romance from international bestselling author Kirsty Moseley.
My body was already on high-alert waiting for it. As soon as he’d walked through the door tonight I knew this would happen.
“How about a dance, Em?” he purred.
Perfect! Amazing! Marvelous! Hot! Swoon-worthy! I love love love this story! Kirsty, you are such a talented and amazing author! This is my second favorite book of 2014 (the first being Nocte by Courtney Cole). Love this!!! I can’t get over how perfect this was.
Let’s start with Carson because just…asdfghjkl..hotness! I will post some of my favorite quotes below this review so keep on reading! In the New Adult genre, Carson is #1 as my book boyfriend. Gosh, he is so sweet and caring but so freakishly hot and sexy in bed. And not even in bed! Just them talking you could feel the sexual tension all over your body! I wanted them to get it on right as soon as the book started and both characters got introduced.
I could barely breathe. He always caused this reaction in me; He had since the first time I laid eyes on him…
Now, Emma is a very strong character and very wise for her age. She takes care of those who she loves and that’s why she became a pole dancer because the money that comes in, it’s quite a lot and she needs to feed three people (counting herself). Emma met Carson when she got the job as a pole dancer. Carson had just won a Motorbike event and so he went to celebrate where Emma works. The two meet and sparks fly but nothing serious ever happens. Emma has strong feelings for Carson but he never showed interest in her, only to have sex. And boy, the sex is hot.
He grinned at me over his shoulder and raised one eyebrow.
“Oh, so you dream about me often?”
The blush crept over my face before I could stop it.
“All the time”…
My face was GLUED to my iPad the whole time I was reading! I didn’t want to stop reading—I still want to read more! I want a freaking Carson in my life because he is the whole package, I swear!
Please buy this book now! It is totally worth your time!
He interlaced our fingers, just kissing me passionately. He was always like this: tender, adoring, gentle. It didn’t feel like sex, it felt like he was making love to me. It had always felt the same, like we were connected: one person, one soul, one entity. –Emma
I shook my head to rid myself of the dirty thoughts and blinked a couple of times when I realized I was standing in the middle of Sasha’s bedroom and not in a hot, steamy shower rubbing soapy washcloth over Carson’s body. The disappointment hit me hard. –Emma
“Actually, no, everything’s not all right,” he suddenly said. “I miss you. I’m lonely. The hotel room was too quiet all weekend. I’m just mooching around now waiting for the time when I can check out and go to the airport to come home. There’s no little person running around, no Rory to backchat me, and no you to talk to or laugh with. I don’t like going away. There, I said it. I miss you all, I miss home, and I just called to hear your voice. Make fun of me if you want.” –Carson
“I’m just laying here on my bed and staring at the ceiling, thinking about how I’d much rather be home with you. I’m officially homesick.” –Carson
“And, by the way, Carson, yes, I’m missing you, too. And yes, I’m going to touch myself tonight. And yes, I will be thinking of you when I do it.” –Emma
“My guardian angel is on her knees in front of me.” –Carson
“You really do give me wings, you know.” –Carson
