Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we get to make bookish lists!!

This week’s topic: Top Ten Books On My Fall TBR

Victoria’s Picks

1. Hunting Prince Dracula – By the time this is posted, I’ll probably have finished this one. This is the perfect Fall read, the atmosphere is creepy and gothic, the perfect book to curl up with this season!

2. The Raven King – I started rereading the series over the summer, but haven’t finished this one yet. Fall seems like the perfect time to finish it.

3.  A Darker Shade of Magic – Another Fall book I’m currently reading. I’ve had this on my shelf for over a year, and am finally getting to it because I’m participating in a read along for it here.

4. Fangirl – I Love this book, and Fall seems like the perfect time to reread it. The book starts with twin sisters Cath and Wren starting college, which starts in the Fall, therefore it’s a Fall read.

5. Tower of Dawn – I didn’t think I was going to read anymore of Sarah J. Maas’ books, but I’ve heard so many good things about this one so I gave in and bought it. Hopefully I can get to this one real soon!

6. The Madman’s Daughter – Another book I’ve had on my shelf for a while, I know it’s supposed to be creepy and gory, a perfect read since Halloween is coming up!

7. The White Album – This one is mostly on the list because I want to read Joan Didion before the documentary comes out on Netflix.

8. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer – I’ve had this on my shelf for YEARS, and I think I tried reading it once but never finished. I’ve heard this book is supposed to be kind of creepy and supernatural, so it’s a perfect Fall read for me.

9. Without Merit – I have a love/hate relationship with Colleen Hoover’s books. There are a few I love so much, and others I didn’t like at all. I’m not sure where this one will fall yet, but I’m excited to get to it!

10. There’s Someone Inside Your House – I’ve heard mixed reviews about this one, but it’s Stephanie Perkins so I’ll read it anyways.

What’s on your Fall reading list? Do we have any of the same books? Any books you think I should check out? Let me know!

  1. Aww I love Fangirl! I’ve been wanting to reread some of RR’s books but I couldn’t decide between Carry On and Fangirl. lol. Hunting Prince Dracula is one that I have on my TBR too. I love anything Dracula related. There’s Someone Inside Your House sounds super creepy and perfect for Fall too. Great list!

    • That’s a tough choice, they’re both good! Have you read Attachments by RR, that one is also really good. Hunting Prince Dracula is so good, I’m already planning on rereading it again soon lol. Thanks

  2. I love Fangirl, too. I’ve never reread it but maybe I should. I didn’t love The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, but it’s the type of book where you either love it or hate it. I know lots of people that love it. I hope you do as well.

  3. I’ve seen a lot of people talking about Hunting Prince Dracula here recently. I hope you like it! Fangirl was one of my favorite books the year it released! I should do a reread too! You definitely should try and finish the Mara Dyer series. I love it! I need to read ADSOM too. I loved her Archive duology but never got around to reading any of her other books.

    • Thanks! I really enjoyed Hunting Prince Dracula, it’s such a good book! ADSOM is my first V.E. Schwab book, and I’m really enjoying it, so I’ll probably check out some more of her books soon!

  4. Ah, you have so many perfect fall books here! ADSOM is one of my favorite series ever– I really hope you enjoy it. The Raven Cycle books and the Mara Dyer series are both amazing, atmospheric reads. And we’ve already discussed how much we both enjoyed Hunting Prince Dracula, so I’ll spare you my gushing for now. 😉 I’m definitely due for a reread of Fangirl soon, too!

    • Thanks! I’m a little more than halfway through with ADSOM and I’m enjoying it so far! Haha, I think if we talk about HPD it could go on for a while since we both enjoyed it so much.

  5. Oh I LOVE Fangirl and I think it’s a great idea to reread it, I should definitley do this too!
Why did you think you wouldn’t read any of Sarah J. Maas’ books anymore? I love her Throne of Glass series and I should continue it (i’ve just read the first book and it was great!). Hope you’ll enjoy Tower of Dawn! :))
I’ve also had the Mara Dyer series on my tbr for ages, but I never got any copies so it’s still going to be a while until I read it I guess.

    Great list! Happy Reading!

    Here’s my Fall TBR

    • I love Fangirl too, it’s such a cozy book to read! I really liked Sarah J Maas when I started both of her series, but I felt like the later books in both series weren’t as good as and was disappointed after reading them. I decided not to finish the Throne of Glass series, but heard some good stuff about this book so I gave in and picked it up. Thanks!
