Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, where we get to make bookish lists!!

This week’s topic: Places in Books I’d Love to Visit

Victoria’s Picks

Love the setting of this book. Alaska is such a beautiful place and I would love to go visit again.

Of course Harry Potter is going to be on this list! I’d love to visit Hogwarts, sit in on some classes, and eat so many of the treats mentioned in the books.

I want to visit the Bay Area. Not only does the atmosphere seem great, but all the different foods and restaurants mentioned in the book make me want to visit even more!

A 24 hour bookstore? YES PLEASE. I would definitely love to visit this bookstore, especially  when I finish a book in the middle of the night and have to immediately buy and read the next one.

I love Rome so, so much and would love to go back. The city is beautiful and the food is amazing, and I want to go back.

I never thought about going to Antarctica, but after reading this book it definitely seems like a cool place to vacation to!

I definitely want to visit London, definitely not while the Jack the Ripper attacks were going on though lol.

I would definitely like to visit Yosemite and hike just like the characters in Starry Eyes did. I love looking at nature, and mountains are just so beautiful.

Definitely choosing Bountiful because of the cider and apple picking. I think it would be so much fun to visit a Vermont farm to apple pick and drink some cider!

Another nature setting. I love this series because it takes place at a resort where there’s skiing and hiking.

What places from books would you love to visit?

  1. I am onboard for, well, all of these places. I saw Alaska via a cruise, and it was epic. I would love to do that again, and I have been wanting to see Northern California for a long while, since that is more my sort of thing anyhow. Rome is a place I have dreamed of since I was a Latin student, so, a long time. Great list!

    • I saw Alaska on a cruise as well, and it was beautiful but I’d like to go back and be able to spend more time there. Ugh Rome is amazing, I love it so much. Thanks!

  2. I do love nature settings and I have been to London, and its awesome. Worth every penny, there is so much history there and the people are super friendly. I have always wanted to see Alaska too, and another on my list is Asia like China and Japan and Italy.

    • Ahh, so jealous to hear that, I want to go so badly! Ooh, China and Japan sound so great, I’ve had friends that’ve gone to both places and they enjoyed it so much.
