Weekly Latte Rewind is a weekly feature where we will recap posts, books read, books we received and other bookish stuff. We’ve linked to Stacking the Shelves hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews and The Sunday Post hosted by  Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

  • I went to a Food Truck Park and had such a blast! I went with a few of my parent’s friends that I’ve known since I was a baby. They are a hilarious bunch so I had lots of fun with them. I also tried my first Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino of the season! It was so gooooood!
  • I SAW THE HAMILDOC AND CRIED!!! It was so beautiful! I wish there would be more documentaries surrounding this musical so I can get more behind the scenes footage!

  • You can get 20% off with GENESISREYES20 code! I love Pura Vida Bracelets because they work with various foundations so when you make a purchase, $1 gets donated to the foundation (I’m eyeing the Self-Harm and Suicide bracelets). Plus, for every purchase, you help provide full-time jobs for artisans in Costa Rica!

  • Molly’s Book Nook opened up a new shop that I’m so in love with!! It’s called the Blu Bear Bazaar! I love all of the designs that Molly has created and the prices/shipping prices are great! I can’t wait to show you a tank top and tote bag that’s already on the way. I’ll be using the tote bag all the time, especially for my coffee shop runs with books 😀 You can get 10% off with CUBGENESIS10

A Place in the Sun | Four Letter Word | Hit the Spot

Rachel sent me her latest book  A Place in the Sun which I LOVED!! And look at all the cute swag!
I was shocked when J. Daniels messaged me, asking me if I wanted Four Letter Word and Hit the Spot. I legit froze and then fangirled so hard! I love this author so much so it meant so much she noticed my Instagram and loved it.

keepsake someone like you the-bad-boy-bargain hungry-heart-audiobook

I wasn’t sure I would get Keepsake since I requested it late but Nina is awesome and she sent it my way. I read it in a day and holy hell, that was fantastic and so hot *fans face and swoons all over again*.
It’s no surprise that I love Lauren Layne, but I actually hadn’t read her Oxford series until this week and loved it so much I had to request Someone Like You and I got it *does a little dance*
I love bad boys and fake dating in books so of course, I had to request The Bad Boy Bargain! I’m hoping for a very light and fun read with this one. I had gotten the finished copy for Hungry Heart but I really wanted the audiobook so I’m very glad I got it for review.

i wish you were mine into-the-blue

I got I Wish You Were Mine from the library. I haven’t started it yet because it wasn’t Nick’s favorite book so I’m hesitant with it.
I had to get Into the Blue since two weeks ago Berkley sent me the first and third book of the series. I’m hoping to bing-read the series in November or December.

irresistibly yours bittersweet keepsake wrecked the best possible answer

This was a very good reading week! Irresistibly YoursBittersweet, and Keepsake were fantastic reads! They had me swooning so much, especially Zachariah from KeepsakeWrecked is a novel that’s very impacting when it comes to non-consensual sex in college and how the colleges deal with it. The Best Possible Answer was an okay read. Nothing really memorable, to be honest.

  1. I’m so pleased you liked Bittersweet and Keepsake! They are such great books! I was really tempted to download The Best Possible Answer, but I didn’t like her first book at all, so I’m glad I stayed away.
Enjoy your new books and I hope you love Someone Like You!
    Happy reading!!

  2. I enjoyed Bittersweet but a bit on the fence on whether or not I’m going to continue on with the series. I don’t know…Anyway, lovely pictures as always. 🙂

    Happy reading, Gen.

  3. You had a great reading week Gen! But I had to laugh at the number of coffees in your instagram photos. Mind you, it’s a bit like my constant bath shots given my blog logo features me reading in the bath!!!

  4. The Book Disciple

Wow you had a good reading week! Way to go!
Berkley sent me books 1 and 3 in the Cleeton series as well so I too need to grab book 2! How funny!
    Have an amazing week!

  5. HAMILDOC is a thing! What! I need to find this on line and watch it. I’m obsessed with all things Hamilton! Wrecked sounds like it would be a great book club discussion book and I love when thorny subjects like this are brought out into the open and discussed. So I’ll be keeping an eye out for that one.

  6. A food truck park? May I assume that this is a park full of food trucks? If this is a thing, how did I know about it?
I look forward to seeing what you think of Hungry Heart. I have seen mostly good reviews and plan on reading it myself at some point.

  7. I love the Wild Aces series, so yay for Penguin Berkley. I am glad you are going to binge read. Food truck park? That does sound interesting. I always try to have at least one pumpkin flavored coffee during the season. Looking forward to seeing your tote! Have an awesome week.

  8. I pretty much love everything by Lauren Layne. The Oxford series is great. I love her stand alones the best though and she has two of those coming out next year…so excited!!! I’d really like to read Four Letter Word, are you enjoying it?

  9. That tote bag is super cute! If I didn’t already have a trunk full of bags I would buy it. LoL I seem to have an obsession will collecting totes for some reason. I love your bookstagram photos. Everyone seems to have an account but me. :'( I guess that’s what I get for not having a smartphone.

  10. I rec’d Bittersweet late, too and I read it in a day also!!! Nina is sooo nice, right!!!??? And I’ve had Pura Vida bracelets for years! I can’t wear them all they time b/c they get in the way of typing on the computer (I’m weird!). I love to combine them in fun ways, though!! I’ll check out your new tote, too!!

Great book haul!! I need to read Lauren Layne one of these days!!!

  11. Food Truck Park??? 😱😱 Sounds like heaven! And your bookstagram posts have made me desperate for a coffee! 🙂

Hope you have a lovely week and enjoy your great haul!

  12. Emily Alfano

The food truck park sounds like so much fun! I live pretty close to Chicago and I have been dying to try some food trucks when I go, but I feel like I always end up at some of my favorite restaurants instead!
Also, A Place in the Sun looks fantastic! Can’t wait to see a review!

  13. Now this is my kind of week. You’re reading a lot of my favorites!! I love Lauren Layne and so I’m thrilled that you’re reading her stuff. You’re going to love Lincoln!! I really enjoyed Jackson’s book so I think you should give it a go. Jackson and Mollie were great!

I hecka love Zachariah from Keepsake. His book hit me in the feels and I just adore him to pieces. Such a great hero and the build up to his book really worked for me even though I was wrong about who he was going to end up with. Gah. Still, that was a fun series and I’m so thirsty for more!!

Didn’t mean to press send so quickly but I hope you have a great reading week Gen! I’m going to keep my eyes peeled on your thoughts for Hit the Spot by J. Daniels.

    Happy reading!

  14. Christy @ Novel Ink

I have never had the chance to go to a food truck…..well unless you count the annual Hillbilly Days festival and those are all AMAZING! Looks like you had a great reading week! My reading has been so slow lately but I’m hoping that will shutting down my etsy shop for a while will allow me the time to get back into reading and blogging.

  15. Oh wow, those new books look amazing, Gen! I hope you’ll enjoy them all 🙂
And how fun to go on a food truck run with your parents’ friends! Food and fun is nearly always a win, right?
Sorry it’s taken me so long to visit this week… I hope you’ve had a good one!
