Weekly Latte Rewind is a weekly feature where we will recap posts, books read, books we received and other bookish stuff. We’ve linked to Stacking the Shelves hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews and The Sunday Post hosted by  Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

  • On Sunday, my mom and I went to the mall to get my cousin a gift for her birthday and we ended up buying two shirts for each of us and jeans for me. The good thing is we wear the same size and have similar styles so really, I got 4 and she got 4 lol
  • During the week, I went to the coffee shop to drink coffee and do some blogging. And there was the cutest pitbull I’ve ever seen! She was huge but so freaking adorable and polite. She would lay on her owner’s lap and she wanted attention, she would get up and nudge him with her paw. I fell in love right there.

  • Mom has been sick for more than a week so for two days this week she stayed home. I made breakfast for both of us and I have to say it was delicious!

I’ve liked Hart’s books in the past so I’m hoping I enjoy this one! I got emailed to review When a Marquess Loves a Woman and I know Alyssa loved the first two books so I’m giving this a shot 🙂 TWISTED PALACE ARRIVED!!!!! *throws confetti, pops champagne*

I really enjoyed The Lovely Reckless! I need more books on illegal racing 😀 Deadly Silence was my first book by Zanetti and it won’t be my last one! That was so freaking good and so thrilling, it’s not even funny. I devoured that book. Snowfall on Haven Point is a sweet and cute adult romance that I really liked 🙂 I read Twisted Palace as soon as I got it! I went to sleep at almost 1 AM but it was worth it.

  1. I hope your mom will feel better, Gen!
It’s great that you’re the same size in clothes! I wish I was the same size as my daughter… alas I need bigger clothes than she does.
Your new books look fantastic, as do some of those you read last week. I own several, I just haven’t been able to get around to them yet.
Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading.

  2. I hope your mama feels better now. That was sweet of her to make you waffles even when she was sick. I tried Vivienne Lorret but couldn’t get into her writing. I might have to give her another try. Maybe if you and Alyssa both like this one, I’ll try and read it.
    Have a good week ahead!

  3. That was so sweet of you to make your mom breakfast whens he was sick. And it looked amazing, compared to my boring bowl of cereal this morning. lol! Tonic looks like one I might like! I will have to check it out

  6. Oooo, your waffle arrangement is SO great! I love that! Can I haz some? 😉 I am so glad that you got Lorret’s latest! Funny story – I was approved months ago, but never downloaded it (stupid me), and then it published and it was taken off Edelweiss! The publicist was so nice to send me another copy (phew). I love love LOVE this series! The tension between this couple has been building and building… omg I can’t wait. 😀 I hope you have a great weekend, Genesis!

I think my neighbors heard the squeal when I saw Twisted Palace on my Kindle! I can’t wait to start it. I have to finish a review copy for this week before I can read it *cries* Hope your mom is starting to feel better. I’m sure she enjoyed having breakfast made for her. It looked amazing! Hope you have a great week and enjoy your new reads 🙂 My Sunday Post

  9. Your week sounds awesome! I love coffee and pitbulls and new clothes! XD I still need to read Paper Princess, but I’m super excited that you got book three! Did you love the rest of the series? Have a great week 😀

    Here’s my Weekly Recap!

    • You should read PP it’s the best one of the three books. It’s so fun. Book two was great also but book 1 is my fave. Third book was good but then realized a few of the problems it had so I narrowed down my rating. I was more frustrated while reading than anything.

What a fab week! I wish my mother and I were the same size still. That ship sailed in 5th grade. We definitely do not have the same styles, though. Sometimes I have to help her color-coordinate. I’m sure your mom appreciated breakfast while she was under the weather. It looks fantastic, as do your photos! That pit bull sounds just like my dog, Baby. She will lay all over you and put her head on your leg or in your lap for pets. But she likes people too much to sit still!

  11. That breakfast looks AMAZING!! I wish I had someone who would make that for me!! How are you liking Our Chemical Hearts?? I’m super curious about it.

  12. I’ve been hearing so many good things about Lovely Reckless lately that I think I have to cave and give it a go! I don’t think I’ve ever read a books about street racing before so I’m intrigued… And I just bought Our Chemical Hearts so I’m so, so eager to get to it asap.
