GEN’S LIFE HAPPENINGS

Lot’s of great things happened this week!

  • Sunday: I went out with my BFF and her boyfriend to the Fiestas Patronales (it’s like a city street party with rides and mini concerts). She had to leave at 8:30 PM but I didn’t want to leave. So I messaged a friend if he could make it and he was totally down for it. We went on a ride that’s freaking amazing. We were just laughing non-stop during the ride. Then we waited for a singer to make an appearance and I danced a little bit and sang. I ended up getting home at 3 AM!
  • Monday: I had my first class of the Software Development course! It’s safe to say I’m lost but I hope to understand it.
  • Wednesday: I went with a friend of mine to a coffee shop at 10 PM and then we hit up a bar to meet up a friend of hers. I had a really great time 🙂
  • Thursday: I went to the beach alone and it was so relaxing!!! Then I went to have coffee with a friend and at night, I went to the movies with the friend I went to the Fiestas and another guy friend of mine to watch JOHN WICK 2!
  • Friday: I went with the two guys I went to the movies and a girl to a trampoline park and it was great! I mean, by the 20-minute mark I was exhausted LOL But it was honestly amazing.

GEN’S WEEK IN READING

What a great book! It’s really long but this type of books deserves to be long. It was so in depth and the case was mind-blowing. I actually learned a lot of things so I’m really glad I read it.

I am so excited for The Names They Gave Us! I’ve also heard great things about Every Dark Corner, so I’m glad you liked it. Have an awesome week, Gen! 🙂

  • Oooo, Gen! Are you going back to school? I hope you have a great semester! I loved Dare to Lie – Scotty is so swoony! And I think him being closer to my age made him swoonier. (Is that weird?) I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

    Have a wonderful weekend. =)

  • I want your life. Seriously. Beach, books, boys. Hahahaha!

  • Wow, such a great week – some socialising but alone and ‘down’ time as well. It sounds like a perfect balance of both!

  • Looks like a great week for you, lots of fun and a great read? Total win. Happy reading this week and I can’t wait to see what you think of The Thing about Love by Julie James. I adored that one.

  • It looks like you had a great week in getting books! So many books to choice from now! It sounds like you had a fun and relaxing week too! Hopefully the software class gets easier. Happy Reading!

  • Charlie Anderson

Gen, just reading about your week has me exhausted! But it sounds SO fun! What a great week!

  • Gen – your week sounds super busy! I’m glad it was mostly great stuff though! Fun rides and trampoline parks etc…

In December I took my cousin’s kids to a trampoline park for AN HOUR… Oh my goodness!!! You forget how exhausting it is! I used to do that stuff just for fun! Now I’m considering that I should be doing it as an exercise! 🙂

Have a wonderful weekend and looking forward to seeing your thoughts on some of your new books!
