GEN’S LIFE HAPPENINGS

  • I surprised my BF this weekend! You guys know he is always surprising me so this time, I did it to him! Let me tell you, I got him good and he was so happy. His reaction was priceless. He took me out for brunch to a coffee shop that’s 2 minutes from his house (I need to move to his house, seriously) and had the most delicious coffee! We also went to an organic food restaurant that sells pizza and goodness, that was so tasty. And after eating healthy, we went for some milkshakes at Soft & Creamy 😀
  • I went to drink coffee with friends and then went to see Fist Fight, which was so freaking hilarious!! Highly recommend it. It’s a must-watch.
  • I also went to the beach with friends and had a really great time!

  1. Sounds like you had a great week! I’ve been craving some beach time, but we aren’t going to the beach until the end of July. =( lol! I think I would be happy with any vacation right now. I hope you love your new books, and have a great week!

Lovely haul. Seems like the new Cora Cormack is popular this week. I hope you love all of them.

  3. I got Roar as well! I liked some of Carmack’s NA novels, so I’m curious to see how her YA debut will turn out. It definitely sounds great. 😀

GOOD FOR YOU on turning the tables! I’m glad your bf was surprised and you two had a nice time. #goals

  4. YAY for surprising your boyfriend, Gen. Way to go, I bet he didn’t really expect it as he’s the master of surprises. Your beach picture makes me want to go to Spain so badly. Even if the weather is much nicer now, there are no beaches here.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  5. Roar must be quite something – I see it everywhere now, so I guess my TBR just grew 😉 You are a beautiful couple. Thanks for sharing this picture of you both. To be honest, I envy you that you have Never Let You Go. Looking forward to read your review about it. Have a great Sunday and hopefully a great new week.

What a lovely week, Gen! I think I should move there. Every week when I read your happenings I have a new appreciation for life and the small things.

  9. Sounds like a great week for you, Gen. That’s great! That was such a great deal on the Pushing the Limits series, if I didn’t have them all already I would have taken advantage of that sale. Lovely pictures, as always.

    Have a great week!
