GEN’S LIFE HAPPENINGS

  • I spent Saturday Saturday with my girls. We drank coffee, ate chocolate cake and talked a lot. Then at night, we watched Sky High and Velvet! Guys, I’m loving Velvet! Such a great series and ahhh!! So much love for it.
  • I actually got sick, which is rare. As soon as I felt I was getting sick, I started drinking water, Vitamin C and Echinacea and thanks to God, I recovered very quickly.
  • Father’s Day was a great day with my family. I did spend the afternoon sleeping because I was sick. But lunch with them was fun. We went to a restaurant that has a shelf full of board games and you can play them while you wait for the food. We played Trouble and UNO!
  • I’ve been eating healthy lately and I actually feel good when I eat healthily. I’m proud of myself for that.
  • My BF and I went to Mona Restaurant and got crazy full!! My plate had French Toast with Creme Brulee, scrambled eggs, sauteed potatoes and Nutella with strawberry crepe 😀 I’m also learning how to drive Standard. Only two lessons and I’m a pro! I’m loving it so much!
  • I had a night out with the guys and saw 47 METERS DOWN! My goodness, that movie left me without breath. It was so good! I really recommend it, especially for a specific scene.

  • Oh man, you have my stomach growling now…French Toast with Creme Brulee AND Nutella with strawberry crepe?! That sound soooo good! Hope you have a great weekend

  • Sounds like you had a great week! Glad you didn’t stay sick for long. Those food pictures look yummy!! Have a great week!

  • I’m glad that you’re feeling better! I don’t get sick often either so I know what you mean. It sounds like you had a good week overall, which is awesome. I hope you have an even better one to come, Gen! With books too! 😀

Getting sick during the summer is the worst thing ever. Glad you’re feeling better! I was debating seeing 47 Meters Down but I haven’t gone and seen it yet. It look sort of cheesy but if you really like it I might have to give it a shot!

  • Your pics are beautiful as always, and I’m jealous of all that food 🙂 glad you are staying healthy! Have a great reading week 🙂

  • Sorry you got sick, but kudos for eating healthier. My first two cars were manual (stick shift) and I loved it, but we moved to the city and it wasn’t as much fun in stop and go traffic as where we lived before. Hope you have a great week!

  • Getting sick is rough, I am glad you were able to recover quickly. That is great that you are eating healthier i always find when I do that I start to feel better too!

  • Oh I drive a manual (standard) transmission car and LOVE it. I have driven one since I was 21! They are the best. Once you get the hang of it, its super easy! The worst though is being stuck in traffic with a manual. Foot cramps are real!
Glad you are feeling better 🙂 Have a great week!
