Weekly Latte Rewind is a weekly feature where we will recap posts, books read, books we received and other bookish stuff. We’ve linked to Stacking the Shelves hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews and The Sunday Post hosted by  Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

  • The illustrated Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was released, and of course I preordered it! I was super excited when my copy came in, it’s so pretty! I love the illustrations in it, I can’t wait to reread this edition.
  • This week was me and my boyfriend’s two year anniversary! I can’t believe it’s already been two years. He was super busy this week, so we aren’t celebrating until this weekend.
  • I started a bookstagram this week! It’s something I’ve been interested in, but hadn’t started because I wanted to get used to running a blog first. If you’re  interested, you can follow me here. Or if you’re looking it up on the app, my username is lattenightreviews. I’m so excited to be a part of the bookstagram community!

for review

I got two arcs this week, and am excited for both of them. Busted sounds so good, and London, Can You Wait? is the sequel to London Belongs to Me, which I read and enjoyed a few months ago.

I went a little crazy with my book buying this week, and I have no regrets. I actually preordered HP3 a while back, so technically I didn’t buy it this week. A few days ago I went to the bookstore with the intention of buying Without Merit, but then I saw There’s Someone Inside Your House so I got that too, and then The Case of Beasts was on sale, so I couldn’t NOT get it.

It was kind of a slow reading week for me, I only read two books. I really enjoyed The Victoria in My Head, I related to Victoria (and not just because we have the same name). I also read The Way It Really Is, which was such a disappointment. I’ll have a review up for this next week, so be on the lookout for that.

I’m so excited to read more about Alex and Mark! I really enjoyed the first book London Belongs to Me, and can’t wait to see what the characters are up to now!

  1. I also got There’s Someone Inside Your House but more importantly how did I not realize the new HP Illustrated edition came out???? I swear I thought I had pre-ordered it but after reading this and checking I had somehow not so now it’s on it’s way, crisis averted lol! Good haul this week! My Shelf

    • I’m glad I helped you remember to order Prisoner of Azkaban! I’m looking forward to There’s Someone Inside Your House, I love Stephanie Perkins and I can’t wait to see how she writes a YA thriller.

  2. Hope you have a good anniversary celebration! Most of my anniversaries involve a nice meal and then curling up to read together, but we’re onto our 13th next year, so we’re old hands now… :p Looks like a nice haul, too! Hope you enjoy ’em.

    My STS.

  3. Happy anniversary, Victoria. Yay, so happy for you. I hope you’re having a great time celebrating this weekend. Enjoy your new books. Yay for Without Merit. I’m planning to read it next week. Have a wonderful week. 😁❤️

    • Thanks! I can’t wait to read Without Merit, but I’m trying to save it for Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon in a couple of weeks, which is difficult because I really really want to read it lol.

  4. Grats with the anniversary! Time does fly, doesn’t 🙂
You only started a bookstagram now? You make beautiful photos! I thought you had one already! Followed you 🙂

    • Thank you! Yes it really does, I can’t believe it’s already been two years! Yeah, I wanted to make sure I had everything else under control first before I started something new lol. Thank you, that means so much!

  5. Michelle Parsons

Congrats on Two Years. My husband and I just celebrated out 15 year anniversary! We didn’t celebrate much but had a nice night out. I followed your instagram! I love all the bookstagram images! I don’t do them myself but it’s fun to see other people pictures!

I need to grab Without Merit and There’s Someone Inside Your House. I have like 5 books in my shopping cart on Amazon. I need to one click that! 🙂

Have a great week, Victoria! Happy Reading! 🙂

  6. I liked The Victoria in My Head too. Strand ended up be so much more than he initially seemed, and she totally found her tribe and herself. Thought it was cute.
